Hi everyone!!
Right now it is about 1:20 am in the states and I am sitting in the plane in Shannon Ireland waiting for my flight to continue on to Dublin!
What a crazy, stressful, nerve-filled, exciting day it has been so far.
I managed to make it out of Boston and say goodbye to the family while retaining MOST of my tears although a few slipped out when mom started to cry. Shout out to you momma :)
There isn't even a word for how I am feeling right now.
It's a very scary feeling to know that where I will be going I will not know anyone.
When I walk down the street it will be like looking at a whole new world.
(I hope some of you just started singing Aladdin...I know I did)
Well I suppose I should say goodbye for now since I'm exhausted and singing Disney songs to myself because, after having no problems with my iPod for 2 years, it decided to delete all of my songs the second I stepped into the plane.
What I learned today:
If you pick up a European magazine and it says "Walk off a stone in six weeks!", they aren't talking about a gall or kidney stone. I was very much angered when I read this and thought you could simply walk off your gall stones after having my gall bladder removed.
Luckily the lovely woman next to me informed me that a stone is equal to 14 lbs.
Haha, you can all laugh at me now. She did. :)
Cheers! (Is that what they say here? Yes, I think so :) )
